Cost Maya Excursion

There were a number of excursions offered at this port. Andra, Linda and I opted for the Chacchoben Maya Ruins, which first took us on a city tour and then to three of the ruins. Note that Andra and Linda were in shape to climb them...when allowed to. Notice how Andra takes a photo of me at the bottom.

Here are some more photos at the Costa Maya port.

I'm So Glad We Docked

After a quick lunch Andra, Linda and I first checked out the port of Costa Maya before our excursion. Needless to say I was happy to walk on land (picture of me kissing the ground), shared my enthusiasm and then went to the port. Like most ports of call, shopping was quite available. Now, you'd think that after the pool on the ship that nobody would want to do the same.

Do I See Land Ahead?

The Captain decided on to take a different route to avoid the rougher-less seas. Instead of the usual 8 a.m. docking, it was pushed to noon with a 7:30 p.m. "due on board" time. I attended the Sweet Sparks networking and empowerment workshop, postponed from Monday. Oh, yes, it's now Tuesday, November 10th and even though it is Tuesday it's not Belgium, but Costa Maya. Speakers included: Doria Biddle (pictured on left with Shannon Wentworth); Aefa Mullhollnad, Tania Katan, Erin Cottom and Tammara Billik (pictured in front of audience).

What's this? Do I actually spot "land" ahead?
