Twisted Oak Winery and Rubber Chicken Forest

Next stop is to the Twisted Oak Winery and Rubber Chicken Forest. Humorous experience of a winery. I'll never forget that we went into a cellar area to taste a wine that was still aging in the vat. The winemaker brought his dog on the tour and after we tasted the wine he said, "I hope none of you mind dog spit". He put the turkey baster in the dogs mouth to lick some of it. I guess he expected to use it in another wine. Here are some photos. A few on the way to the winery and one of the main building.

Grape Stomping videos

Here are the videos. First is the interview. Two of the grape stomping experience.

More Grape Stomping

Now we have a photo of what looks as if Nancy is peeing in the bucket. Another of the amount that we ended up with, which put us in fourth place in that group. Now, we're cleaning up. I stomped in my bare feet.

Grape Stomping

We're now at Murphys Community Park in the town of Murphys. Event is grape stomping contest. I am stomping for the New York Sharks and being sponsored by Calaveres County Visitors Bureau. I'm teamed up with Nancy while Barb takes the photos and video. Here are a few photos. We first had to sign up for the event. There is a photo of myself and Anne Davies, Executive Director of the Calaveres Winegrape Alliance.

More of Zip Lining at Moaning Cavern Park

Barb took a photo with my camera of Nancy and I at the tower. Not sure if you can see us. There is a photo of me ending the zip and a video of my reaction to the experience. I couldn't believe that I actually did this!!
