I had dined at River Japanese Cuisine in Bayside, or Oakland Gardens as they call it. They have a second location in downtown Flushing on Main Street. Curious as to whether the menu and restaurant was the same.
The interior gives a more fine dining look as well as being a bit larger.
For those who love to watch the experts preparing the sushi items, you can get a table close to the sushi bar but there are no seats in front of it.
Oh yeah, that's Don the General Manager of this restaurant.
Although the basic menu is the same, there were some specials and a few items that varied from the venue in Bayside.
I ordered the avocado soup and got that it did taste the same and just as good.
Here is the Tom Yom Soup. My friend Deveka who loves spicy food ordered this. She said that they make the best.
